World Skills & VCP

Excellent services in the cosmetics industry arise through collaborating with inspired researchers, competent designers and exquisite beauticians. It is therefore an important issue at IONTO-COMED® to bring the industry forward as a whole.

We support young talent in the industry by offering training programmes and supporting World Skills. The largest ‘job world cup (World Skills) took place in Leipzig in 2013, close to our production and logistics location – and IONTO-COMED® contributed as a sponsor in presenting cosmetics as a discipline.

In order to develop standards for the industry, we bring our expertise to the German Institute for Standardisation (DIN). Furthermore, we are involved in the Cosmetic Professional Association (VCP), which promotes training in the cosmetics industry, collects and distributes information about the industry and represents the interests of beauticians in politics.
